Our Catalyst Department specializes in comprehensive services for catalyst change-outs, including unloading, dense loading, sampling, technical supervision, and expert support during unit maintenance shutdowns. With more than 1,500 reactors successfully dense loaded worldwide, our experienced teams operate across the globe.
Complementing this, our Energy Department focuses on energy diagnostics (notably via Infra-Red Thermography) and offers advanced solutions such as Inserts to improve unit efficiency and reduce carbon footprints on industrial sites.
Headquartered in Normandy, France, PETROVAL operates internationally across all five continents, supported by subsidiaries in Bahrain, Singapore, and Texas, USA.
To support our continued growth, we are looking for an
Area Sales Manager (M/F)
based in Le Havre area, in France.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with our Technical Department to respond to RFQs and tenders, ensuring feasibility and delivering tailored technical solutions.
- Conduct professional sales presentations in English via video call or in-person when needed.
- Coordinate with internal technical and logistics teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage administrative tasks related to personnel/equipment deployment and product delivery.
- Oversee the invoicing process and follow up to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Ensure client satisfaction and handle feedback after project completion.
- Prospect new markets and geographical areas where PETROVAL is underrepresented.
- Represent PETROVAL at industry conferences, seminars, and events to promote our services.
- Conduct regular client visits abroad (approximately 1–2 trips per quarter).
Your Profile:
- Educational background in commercial and/or technical fields.
- Open to recent graduates — we value motivation, adaptability, and a willingness to learn : full technical training will be provided to support your integration and success.
- Versatile, autonomous, and highly adaptable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client satisfaction.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and site visits.
